I’m Dr Kellyn Lee, a Chartered Psychologist, researcher and therapist. For over 20 years, my work has brought me alongside people living with dementia and the families supporting them.

Through research and conversations with carers, I’ve seen where support falls short. Families can leave a diagnosis with questions unanswered, face changes they don’t understand and carry enormous responsibility without enough help.

I’ve heard carers describe feeling exhausted, uncertain and alone - loving someone deeply while finding parts of caring incredibly difficult.

Those experiences drive my work. I want to help close those gaps, bringing together research, practical guidance and space for people to be heard.

You deserve support before things reach a crisis. Somewhere to ask the question that’s been worrying you, talk honestly about a difficult day and feel understood without having to explain everything.

That’s why I created Dr Kellyn’s Dementia Carers Community, and why our team continues to grow the support we offer.

We can’t take away every difficulty, but we can be here with you.

Behind all the research, teaching and professional language are real people trying to get through ordinary days.

That's the bit that matters.
